Featured Enhancements
New ability to view all images found on the Case File > Imaging screen from within the Case File > Activity screen
(must be enabled by a CMP administrator).
Added the ability to split a client funds transaction into 2 different transactions (for the purposes of re-coding only a part of the original amount), under Case File > Financial > Transactions (must be enabled by a CMP administrator).

Case File
- Main:
- Added the Client Reference field (from the Case File > Main screen) to the default columns when doing a search in CMPFind.
- New User Preference to keep the Debtors / Accounts box expanded on the Case File > Main screen, setup under User Preferences.
- Imaging:
- Added the ability to add longer activity note comments (up to 800 characters) while sending an email to Imaging from the Outlook add-in.
- Enhanced ability to automatically add review codes while sending an email to Imaging from the Outlook add-in.
- Financial:
- Added the appropriate wrapping of text to the Service Description field (for very long descriptions), under Case File > Financial > Billing, and Accounting > Billing > Enter Bills.
- New ability for the system to auto-calculate the Client Funds bucket, under Case File > Financial > Transactions (must be enabled by a CMP administrator).
- Added the ability to specify the Case File Account (for multi-count cases) when entering a pre-judgment balance adjustment, under Case File > Financial > Transactions.
Contacts
- Clients:
- New informational field “Settlement Authority (%)” in Client Settings, which appears in the client’s informational popup (if populated), under Contacts > Clients.
Tools
- Custom Reporting:
- Updated query logic when pulling “Last Note” or “Last Legal Status” to run faster, as well as pull the last item based on Note Date and Entered Date (vs. Entered Date only), under Tools > Custom Reporting.
Accounting
- Added the ability to view the Outside Counsel on a case file (if assigned) from the Accounting > Billing > Open Bills > Enter Payment grid.
- New ability to print bills based on the Account Executive assigned to the client, under Accounting > Billing > Print Bills > More Options.
Administration
- Increased the maximum length of a document component’s “condition” field from 255 to 2000 characters, under Administration > Document > Document Packages.
- Administration > Security:
- Added field “Deny Closed File Access?” to the system user setup to prevent a user from accessing closed files, under Administration > Security > Users.
- New ability to set security on the “Branch” level, under Administration > Security > Branch Security.
