Featured Enhancements

Added ability to drag / drop new images onto the Review popup in addition to a new “Upload Image” icon / button, which is located to the right of “manage attachments” wording when adding or editing a review.

New ability to view the “Transaction Type / Code” description field from the Balance screen’s Summary and Detail views as an optional column in the grid. Simply click on the eye icon in the top right to select this field.

Case File

  • Main:
    • Added a company setting (must be enabled by a CMP administrator) to add a Hold Code to an Opponent / Debtor when a recurring payment arrangement has been configured through CMP’s “Take Payment” feature, as well as remove that Hold Code when the recurrence is cancelled.
  • Opponents / Debtors > Financials:
    • New vertical scroll bar to the Payment Arrangement History popup to prevent dialog box size issues.
    • Added the ability to use a “Weekly”, “Bi-weekly”, or “Bi-monthly” frequency (in addition to the “Monthly” frequency) to the Payment Arrangement calculator.
    • Company Setting (must be enabled by a CMP administrator) to prevent Opponent / Debtor Payment Arrangements from advancing the Due Date beyond the next available due date.
    • Added an “Apply All Payments to this Arrangement?” checkbox when setting up a Payment Arrangement for an Opponent / Debtor, where, if checked, payments made by any debtor on the case file would be applied towards that arrangement.

Tools

  • Added a “Guardianship” fieldset and associated fields for Case Types that include the Guardianship screen, under Tools > Custom Reporting.
  • Increased the width of the “Fields” listing while building a Custom Report, under Tools > Custom Reporting.
  • Added the Judge Name as an optional column to the Legacy Schedule grid (if enabled by a CMP administrator), under Tools > Legacy Schedule.
  • New Branch filter has been added to the Equifax export (if enabled by a CMP administrator), under Tools > Data Export > Equifax

Contacts

  • Enhanced ability for users to override Company-wide settings on Transaction Types / Codes as they relate to updating Costs to Remit, Expenses to Retain, and more, at the Client-level, under the Contacts > Clients > Settings > Transaction Overrides tab.

Accounting

  • Increased the maximum returned records from 100 to 500 on the Enter Bills screen, under Accounting > Billing > Enter Bills.
  • Added logic to better handle Combined Checks in the Quickbooks Online export file, under Accounting > Checks > Print Checks.
  • Added logic so that you can undo the last 20 final remits *or* any final remit within the last 60 days (assuming checks have not been printed), under Accounting > Remittance > Undo.

Administration

  • Lookups > Case File > Case Types
    • Added the ability to override Company-level User Defined Fields based on the Case File’s Case Type.
  • Setup:
    • Enhanced ability to default Payment Arrangements’ default user (for reviews) to a Review Group within the Company settings area, under the Administration > Setup > Company > Advanced tab.
    • Added the ability to attach a specific Process Server to an Opponent / Debtor based on a Company Automation, under the Administration > Setup > Company > Automations tab.
    • Enhanced ability to mark a “custom” Custom Reporting fieldset for “Internal” users only (firm users), under Administration > Setup > CR Fieldsets / Fields.
    • New ability to create custom User Defined Fields (by contact) for many of the contacts in CMP, under Administration > Setup > User Defined Field Labels.
  • Setup > Document Templates:
    • New Merge Fields:
      • JudgmentExpirationDate.
      • Guardianship document merge fields for Case Types that include the Guardianship screen.
      • SelectedAccount_TotalAdjustments*.
      • JudgeUDF-* and ClientUDF-* for the new contact-level User Defined Fields.

General

  • Updated the wording from “Submit Code” to “Send Code” on specific buttons used during the CMP Login process for sending the 2FA code to a user’s email / phone.
  • Added the ability to provide a topic with CMPOnline support requests.

CMPOnline makes it easy to add your signature for use in document merges. To add your signature, navigate to Administration > Security > Users, select your username, and click Edit. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Add Signature. Then, either drag and drop your signature file or click the blue link to browse and upload it. Be sure to click Save on the user settings screen when you’re done.

Once your signature is saved in your user settings, it will automatically merge into any document containing the _USERSIGNATURE merge field.
