Featured Enhancements

Added ability to record conversations and store them in Imaging as an MP3 file when
an outgoing phone call has been initiated from CMPOnline.

Added ability to set up SMS Categories / Templates, if SMS messaging is enabled for your account.

Case File

  • Main:
    • Added ability to use the “Converge” payment processor via the “Take Payment” button on the Case File > Main screen.
  • Accounts:
    • Added Accounts grid for managing screen load time on files with more than 10 accounts, under Case File > Accounts.
  • Opponents:
    • Enhanced zip code logic to support both US zip codes and Canadian postal codes.
  • Litigation:
    • Added Court Location field to the Case File > Litigation screen, which pulls from the court locations (Additional Contacts) setup under the venue county’s clerk.
  • Activity:
    • Updated the Image Description dropdown when adding an image from the activity screen to the “select2” format.

Contacts

  • Added ability to send enhanced emails from the contacts popup dialog window.
  • Clerks:
    • Added “Additional Contacts” under Contacts > Clerks to allow the user to add additional court locations.
  • Clients:
    • Settings > Billing Address / Settings Screen
      • Added the following fields:
        • Minimum Billing Amount Per File and Maximum Days to Hold Billing Per File
        • Added additional invoice / billing formats for a Consolidated Client Box
    • Settings > Checking Address:
      • Added a new tab with override fields for company name and address fields to use a specific address on checks for that client.
    • Settings > Accounting Settings
      • Added the following fields:
        • Minimum Remittance Amount Per File, Maximum Days to Hold Remittance Per File, and Remit All Payments When SIF/PIF

Accounting

  • Accounting > Billing > Print Bills.
    • Added Client Settings shortcut to grid when printing bills / invoices.
    • Added Invoice Format column to grid when printing bills / invoices.

Administration

  • Lookups:
    • Updated display of document categories / packages to a grid-format, under Administration > Lookups > Document > Document Packages.
  • Company Settings:
    • Added option to show the case number on the status bar, under Administration > Setup > Company > Advanced.
    • Added option to have variable length client codes, under Administration > Setup > Company > Advanced.
    • Added option to NOT check for unremitted payments during a Problems check, under Administration > Setup > Company > Advanced.
    • Added ability to override billing checks when closing files, under Administration > Setup > Company > Advanced.
    • Added Payment Plan Grace Days override to Administration > Setup > Company > Accounting and Contacts > Clients > Settings > Accounting Settings.
  • Document Templates:
    • Added Collector and Paralegal fields from Case File > Main > Settings screen as document merge fields.
    • Added Outside Counsel Email Address 2 and 3 as document merge fields.
    • Added Court Location fields as document merge fields.
    • Added “OutsideCounselPhoneNumber” as a document merge field.
    • Added Document Fragments (DOCFRAG) as a merge field, allowing users to merge document fragments into a main document template.
    • Added Client Contact address fields as document merge fields.
    • Added Outside Counsel Email Address 2 and 3 to document merge fields.
    • Added new document merge fields for “OpposingAttorneyOrOpponent*” to use the opposing attorney (if available) or the opponent if an opposing attorney is not available.

General

  • Added User Preferences options for “Keep Selection on Balance screen” and “Keep Selection on Billing screen”.  If selected, the last Balance screen and/or Billing screen selection will be displayed when visiting those screens.
